RuralXPress Shipping Policy

A guide to estimated delivery, shipping charges, and delivery services.

This document outlines the shipping and delivery policies for the RuralXPress platform. The policies described herein are general practices and do not create legally enforceable rights or obligations.

This platform is owned and operated by **Agrisakthi Marketplace Private Limited**.


Estimated Delivery Time

Sellers typically ship items within the timeframe specified on the product page. Estimated delivery time depends on:

  • The seller offering the product.
  • The product's availability with the seller.
  • Your destination and the seller's location.

Business days do not include public holidays and Sundays. Delivery times may vary between different sellers due to their geographic location and the time-to-deliver for their chosen logistics partner in your area.


Delivery to Your Location

Whether a seller can ship to your location depends on:

  • The seller's shipping preferences.
  • Any legal restrictions on shipping certain products to your area.
  • The availability of reliable delivery partners in your location.

You can check if a product can be delivered to your location by entering your **pincode** on the product page. If you do not, the pincode from your shipping address will be used at checkout.


Shipping Charges

Shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of the product. The shipping fee is determined by the **actual weight** of the packed product or the **volumetric weight**, whichever is higher.


Open Box Delivery (OBD)

This service allows you to inspect the product before accepting delivery. It is available on select products, locations, and for select customers.

  • You must make the payment first for Cash on Delivery (COD) orders before the box is opened by the delivery executive.
  • You must be present to inspect the product in the presence of the delivery executive.
  • If the product is **missing, damaged, or wrong**, you should hand it back to the delivery executive immediately.
  • For COD orders, the refund is given back to you immediately by the executive. For prepaid orders, the refund is credited to your account within two business days.

Once the open box delivery is successfully completed and acknowledged, return requests for missing, damaged, or wrong items will not be accepted.


Order Status and Tracking

Once your order is placed, you will be notified of its status until it is delivered. RuralXPress provides tracking information for all orders.
